1/ It gets your body switched on ready to burn some fat so that you get the most out of every minute you’re working out.
2/ It prevents injury and will severely lesson any post workout pains that you might experience days after your session.
I think number 2 is the most important especially if you are just starting out.
If you are just starting out, the last thing you need is something that will stop your momentum.
If you workout on Monday and are too sore to workout the rest of the week than you not only won’t see results but you will probably not go back.
